Christmas

Ok this is a more "for real" Christmas post. We has a wonderful day, Dale, Michelle and Heather came up and spent the day with us and we were able to get on a video chat with Rob, Chrissy and Jonathan, while we opened gifts. Heather was soooooo cute, she got so excited with opening gifts, not just her own but when others would open theres she wonted to help, and some times
" redistribute" some of them. LOL Before those in CA. got off line Rob told us "Merry Christmas from all four of us". YEAH!!!! I am going to be an Aunt again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Later on we had a nice meal and and just spent the day enjoying each other. Last night we turned on The Sound of Music, but we didn't watch much of it, we were too busy watching Heather watch it. :) She was way too cute.
All in all we had a wonderful day, and I thank the Lord for his many wonderful blessings.

A crazy day

Thursday morning we headed north to Goshen to spend the day with the Bee family. They live not far from Shipshewana, so we decided to spend the afternoon there, and do some shopping. We went to David's Mercantile, which is a four story tall building with lots of little shops in it, of course my favorite is the Lolly's ( the fabric shop). We also went to the little chocolate shop so that I could get some chocolate covered blueberry's ( yum, yum). After that we went to a HUGE bulk food store. The first thing that we saw when we first went in was 10lb. bars of chocolate, we didn't buy any though :(. After that we went back to the Bees for supper. At about 7:00 we left to go home. The roads were kind of bad when we first left but we kept going not realising how bad they were going to get. It took us about 2 hours to go about as far as we would have been able to go in about 30 min. on good road. We finally decided to spend the night with the Koozer's. We teased the we were just looking for an excuse to see them again. Thank you Koozer family for your hospitality! Friday morning we got up bright and early and headed home on much clearer roads and made it home safely, praise the Lord!

I will just add that it was such a blessing to finally get to know him.

I figured it out!!!!!!!

For Rhonda's birthday I surprised her with a quilted wall hanging. I tried to post a video but I couldn't get it to work, so here are some pictures.

Yesterday was Rhonda's 23rd birthday! We had a bit of a party last night with Dale, Michelle and Heather.

Rhonda was given a necklace charm and Heather found it and wanted to put it on. Well there wasn't a chain for it so Rhonda was telling her that she couldn't put it on. Heather started pulling her shirt up and wanting Rhonda to put it on her belly button. So Rhonda had me get some tape and she taped it right over her belly button. It was too funny watching her with it.
